What Is NAMPA?
North American Mature Publishers Association is the non-profit association for publishers of local/regional senior publications. NAMPA was founded in 1994 to provide mature market publishers with regional information exchanges and meeting opportunities. NAMPA members publish over 35 publications with a combined circulation of over 2.0 million in the United States and Canada. NAMPA membership provides an opportunity to exchange ideas with other top publishing leaders. Membership is by invitation. We are a professional group of newspaper publishers meeting to share leading edge strategies and marketing tactics.
Why Should I Join NAMPA?
- Meet and grow with your peers in the Mature Market.
- Find out about the best sales, marketing, editorial and financial
strategies in the business.
- Improve your bottom line.
- Compete with papers your size for awards in editorial, graphic
design and sales pieces.
- Network with publishers in your region by telephone, regional
meetings, or at the national meeting.
- Share and learn from people doing the exact thing you do.
When Does NAMPA Meet?
Throughout the year, members share information through our newsletter. Once you join, announcements will advise you of regional and
national meetings. National meetings have been in publisher cities all over the country.
What are the Membership Criteria/Dues?
Our by-laws require that your publication be oriented to the mature market.
