Thank you for your interest in Chicagoland Senior News - 50 and Better, the "1999, 2002 & 2004 Mature Market Newspaper of the Year", so named by NAMPA (North American Mature Publishers Association). Senior News is the oldest, largest, most established, and the only audited senior news magazine in the Chicagoland area. We belong to a national network of independently owed senior media publications that as of the 1st quarter of 2006, had a audited circulation of over 3 million. Call me if you would like information on this national network or visit spmg.com .

We currently have 10 editions monthly in Chicagoland: City (Chicago), Suburban Cook North, Suburban Cook West, Suburban Cook South, Dupage, Kane , Lake, McHenry, Northshore and Will . Additionally, we recently launched an online edition, csn50andbetter.com, which features highlights from the print version as well as other exclusive articles, a blog, and an opt-in weekly newsletter. The site is content-rich and offers additional opportunities for our advertisers.

Our current readership is estimated at 235,000 and growing monthly. Senior News is the media to use if you want to reach the senior market in Chicagoland. Our structured distribution system consists of high traffic areas for active 50+ people and is monitored monthly to assure the widest readership. We currently have over 1800 distribution locations, including our corporate distribution sponsors like Woodman's Markets, Sears and Miracle-Ear hearing centers.

Our readers often comment that they read from cover to cover and all the ads are noticed. The advertising and editorial are specifically tailored for this age group. Nothing is missed, as it could be in a daily or weekly paper where only a percentage of the copy is of interest to anyone specifically. Don't waste your ad dollars on the rest of the people if your target is the senior market.

Do you want more exposure for your advertising $'s? Unlike a daily publication, that is read this morning and in the bird cage tonight, a recent (2005) national survey, encompassing over 29,000 readers of monthly targeted publications like Senior News shows that readers are opening our publications 15 to 17 times during a shelf life of 25 to 28 days, 25% are between the ages of 45 -54, and 71.4% frequently purchase products or services as seen in their local senior newspaper.

We are a service paper and our goal is to bring valuable information from our advertisers to our readers. No other media offers these additional services.

Please contact our office if we can be of service to you or your clients. We look forward to working with you.
